Fidyah

Compensation for fasts that cannot be made up — feeding one person in need for each missed fast.

All donations
What it is

For those who cannot fast in Ramadan due to chronic illness or old age, and cannot make the fasts up later.

Who it's for

Anyone permanently unable to fast. If you can make the fast up later, you make it up — Fidyah is for lasting inability.

How we deliver it

$5 feeds one person in need for one missed fast. Our kitchen serves the meals directly to the poor of Lohajuri.
